Women of Sudan 2 (Nisa’a Baladi - 2 نساء بلادي)

A painting that celebrates the homogenous nature of Sudan with all its tribes and cultural diversity. In this painting four girls from different parts of Sudan are dressed in their tribal attire and standing in solidarity with one another despite their different backgrounds.

Top left: a girl from the Northern region (Galeen tribe). Top right: a girl from the Eastern region (Rashayda tribe). Bottom right a girl from the Western region (Darfur tribe). Bottom left: a girl from Southern Sudan (Zandi tribe).
